Publication Frequency & Continuous Publishing

Academic Journal Research (ACJOURE) publishes two issues per year, covering the following publication periods:

  • Issue 1: January–June

  • Issue 2: July–December

ACJOURE operates a continuous publishing (publish-as-you-go) model within each issue.

Under this model, manuscripts that have successfully completed peer review, editorial evaluation, revision, copyediting, proofreading, and production are published online immediately in the active issue. Authors are therefore not required to wait until the end of June or December for their articles to become publicly available.

Publication Cycle

Issue 1 (January–June)
Articles accepted and ready for publication during this period are progressively published in Issue 1. The issue is formally completed at the end of June.

Issue 2 (July–December)
Articles accepted and ready for publication during this period are progressively published in Issue 2. The issue is formally completed at the end of December.

Once an issue has been formally closed, no new articles will normally be added to that issue except where an editorial correction is required.

Article Publication Date

Each article displays its actual online publication date. The publication date represents the date on which the final version of the article becomes publicly available on the journal website.

Publication Process

The continuous publishing model does not alter or shorten the journal's editorial and peer-review requirements. Every research manuscript must successfully complete the journal's editorial screening and peer-review process before it is eligible for publication.

The publication schedule and the number of articles published in an issue do not influence editorial decisions. Decisions to accept manuscripts are based on scholarly quality, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, methodological rigor, originality, and compliance with the journal's editorial and ethical policies.
