Objective: This community service activity aimed to implement the SIMPAN Program (Waste Management and Utilization System) through the establishment of a Bottle Waste Bank at SDN Kumitir 02. Method: The activity employed educational, participatory, and mentoring approaches consisting of preparation, implementation, and sustainability stages. Results: The results showed that waste-sorting socialization and simulation were highly effective, as demonstrated by 95% of the participants, or 38 out of 40 students, who were able to correctly distinguish between organic and inorganic waste. The program also resulted in the establishment of a physical Bottle Waste Bank facility, a management structure involving school personnel, and an operational record-keeping system. Plastic bottles were collected routinely every Friday and subsequently delivered to waste collectors. Novelty: The implementation of the SIMPAN Program not only increased students’ environmental awareness and waste-management habits but also provided economic benefits that support the sustainability of waste-management practices within the school environment.
